Maya Mendonça

Instructor

This is Maya's second summer in Montana and second season working for MOSS. She grew up in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, where her childhood was spent hunting for fairies, plunging into snowmelt lakes, and hugging Giant Sequoias. She received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has since found a lot of fulfillment imparting her reverence of the natural world onto younger generations. In her free time, Maya is a mediocre snowboarder, decent pie-baker and aspiring hacky-sacker.
